Really good food, stiff drinks, bar tender was very nice, we ate at the bar, all around a really cool place that has been around since 1979 I believe.
Wow!!! As an out of town, we looked for fun and welcoming places to grab a drink and O' Neal's exceeded expectations! Phil was tremendous, best bartender we've experienced our entire trip to Philly. And last but not least, Rich was such a helpful local pointing us to unknown tips and spots. Seriously recommend stopping by this place! Such a great stop.
We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and decided to try O'Neals. What a find! Its like the kind of bar I wish was my local, drinks are good, great choice and very reasonably priced (compared to London!). Staff (Sue) was lovely and has great craic with the owner Spoonie, we even thought they were married! We felt welcomed by staff and punters. Was relaxing to while away a couple of afternoons watching sport we didn't understand and then stumble back to our house. Plus the are an Everton Supporters club bar. Will be back when next in Philly
I met someone here for drinks. Parking: Metered street Atmosphere: pubbish Service: Great! Kayleen was very accommodating and engaging. A very pleasant person. Her Boss wasn't so engaging, but that's ok, Kayleen made our experience good. Our drinks were good. We just ordered fries and a salad. Overall, we enjoyed our bar conversation and would go back if in the area that time of day again.

Food was delicious, price was fantastic, service was phenomenal. We ordered pirogies, quesadillas and bbq/hot mix wings. Stopped in around 5 on a Thursday before a show at TLA! Will be back!
I don't know if I can really add more than anything already said but this place is Epic!! Love Spoonie and the crew is Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! It's our home away from him when not in Oregon!
A wonderful small bar! Great service! I always stop by there if I am in the neighborhood! They have a Mystery beer for $3!
O'Neals was awesome! Passed by on Friday afternoon right before happy hour and got to experience some great banter with the bartender. The service was a big part of the experience, all the staff were welcoming and shared their stories from working at O'Neals for some time. The loaded baked potato was soooo good, I remember the freshness of the chives and the crunch on the bacon. There is ample seating and they keep the patio doors open providing a nice fresh breeze. O'Neals is definitely a landmark for Philly, they have a great beers on tap and a variety of "mystery" drinks from the fridge. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in Philly.
